TRE carried out an assessment of the potential mine water heating resource within flooded coal mines for the Newton Grange industrial estate.
This project was funded by the Low Carbon Infrastructure Programme (LCIP) managed by Scottish Enterprise as part of a wider project to assess the feasibility of a district energy scheme to supply a proportion of power, heating and cooling requirements to key stakeholders in the area.
