Town Rock Energy were awarded £10,000 funding at the Scottish EDGE (Encouraging Dynamic Growth Entrepreneurs) event in Edinburgh. We will use the funds to hire highly skilled technical consultants to give our analysis the credibility required to seek venture capital to implement a HSA geothermal pilot project in Scotland, as well as marketing and travel to further develop the business and increase our presence in the industry. The atmosphere at the day of pitches and evening awards ceremony was superb, and the incredibly high quality of all of the finalists business ideas was very encouraging. The future of innovation and enterprise in the Scottish economy is very bright indeed!
