This study provided a high-level assessment of the potential mine water heating and cooling resource within the flooded mine workings of the Lady Victoria colliery which is now the site of the National Mining Museum of Scotland. This involved an evaluation of the potential for a low carbon geothermal heat network to supply heat to a housing development above the colliery of c. 300 houses.
