TRE was tasked with conducting a pre-feasibility for a leisure centre re-development site in South Lanarkshire. Shallow coal mines were the most favourable resource available over closed loop borehole arrays. The scale of the mine water resource would influence the size and components of the leisure centre. If the project is taken forward, there will need for a full feasibility study.
