We kicked off 2020 by visiting Nova Scotia, Canada, where good heating systems are critical as temperatures reached as low as -18C during our visit! TownRock Energy were commissioned to help a municipal client understand the business case for installing a minewater district heating and cooling network. The opportunity for renewable heating and cooling from flooded coal mines is enormous, especially in the UK, and we look forward to progressing a number of similar renewable heating and cooling projects this year.
