We are delighted to announce that we are one of ten winners in of the inaugural Scottish Young EDGE business funding competition. David pitched in the finals yesterday for a panel of six judges in the Princes Trust headquarters in Glasgow. We have won £1000 of in-kind support, and up to £9000 in funding, the amount of which will be announced at the awards ceremony.
The awards will be given at the Scottish EDGE Round 4 Final Event in the RBS Gogarburn Headquarters on the 16th of June. John Swinney MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Sustainable Growth, will be personally handing us a cheque and a trophy on stage.
We are immensely happy and grateful to the judges for supporting our idea, and are excited to use these funds to help accelerate the growth of Scotland’s geothermal energy sector.
