Following his talk last week at the Scottish Renewable’s Conference, David got a mention from Peter Jones on the front page of the Scotsman’s “Scottish Prespective” section.
Interesting proposition to use abandoned mines for pumped storage, however given the degree of saturation for most flooded mines the necessary head required for viable pumped storage may be difficult to achieve. Very cool idea though.
