As a result of TownRock winning a position on the Royal Bank of Scotland’s Accelerator programme, the rapidly growing team have full use of the offices available in Edinburgh, just a 5 minute walk from Waverley Station, as well as other hub locations across the UK.
RBS Accelerator supports and empowers UK entrepreneurs to scale their business to the next level. The free Accelerator programme specialises in High Growth, Climate, FinTech and Purpose-led initiatives, providing one-to-one coaching, a programme of thought leadership events and access to a network of like-minded peers, alongside the modern co-working spaces.
The programme is helping TownRock to develop its new joint venture, BODYHEAT Club. BODYHEAT Club is a climate-tech start up, integrating the latest low carbon technology into buildings to heat and cool them, balanced with intelligent controls using machine learning.
In addition to the co-working space provided from the programme, visioning and strategy workshops, amongst others, are encouraging collaborative working and a growth mindset for the team to evolve the business and expand its capabilities.
