It has been a week full of exposure for Town Rock Energy.
On Tuesday David gave a talk at the Low Carbon Heat International Showcase while Phil manned our stand. We made some great contacts from Scandinavia who were more than happy to share with us their experience in district heating and geothermal, and caught up with many familiar faces from the Scottish renewable heat sector. The Wednesday morning involved tours of Edinburgh based low-carbon heat networks, including the gigantic North British Distillery.
Friday saw the return of the Aberdeen Enterprise Conference, which welcomed around 600 delegates from all across the north east. David gave a 30 minute presentation on climate change, geothermal and the business strategy of Town Rock Energy. His main point was that entrepreneurial activity will be improved by incorporating low-carbon values regardless of the business sector. The atmosphere was great and the feedback was very encouraging. The whole day was televised so once the videos are available online they will be posted here.
Here are a few pictures from both events, plus a couple from the Business in the Parliament Conference which David attended two weeks ago.
How many people know what Geothermal energy is? Potentially 600 more today thanks to @town_rock Dave! #MakingItHappen pic.twitter.com/s9UxlQjYmy
