Two presentations by our MD at All-Energy

David presented twice at this years All-Energy conference in Gkasgow, the biggest renewable energy conference in the British calendar. Funding Success

We are very pleased to announce that the Energy Technology Partnership have awarded our STEP project entitled “Feasibility Model Development for Geothermal Energy Projects” funding. This is a collaboration between TownRock Energy ltd and the University of Glasgow whereby one of their talented PhD students will enhance our intellectual property associated with minewater geothermal project development through dedicated work over a month in early 2019.

Won Tender for Geothermal Feasibility Study

Our tender to Cheshire West & Cheshire Council has been successful! Recognition as global geothermal industry representative

Our MD was today on an interview panel with the aim of selecting a new Professor of Geothermal Energy for a joint role with Heriot-Watt University and the British Geological Survey. David’s role was to represent the global geothermal energy industry, among senior academics and managers from both institutions. Attended Nordic Heat Masterclass in the Hague

Our MD visited the Hague for a one-day masterclass on low temperature heating and cooling networks. Presenters were from prestigious expert organisations such as Transport for London, Mijnwater BV and the Dutch government and local municipalities of the Hague and Rotterdam area. Today our team visited the minewater heating and cooling project in Springhill Nova Scotia. Having run for several decades it is one of the legendary examples of minewater heating and cooling. The main client is a plastic manufacturer that uses minewater in its industrial cooling process. Heat customers include a heated polytunnel owned by a charity for adults with learning disabilities.
